We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time temp to perm basis.
Summary of the Warehouse Operative role
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: 40 hour working week – Monday– Thursday – 8.30am-5.30pm Friday – 8am– 5pm
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative
- Picking and packing products ready for dispatch
- General production duties
- Housekeeping duties – keeping your work area clean and tidy
- Meet dispatch deadlines and targets
- Put away correctly and locate stock
- Maintain filing systems for despatch paperwork
- Carrying out periodic zone, location and inventory checks
- Adjust company computer-based records as and when needed
- Assist in any investigations and resolutions of stock count discrepancies
Requirements for a successful Warehouse Operative
- Previous experience working within a warehouse environment
- Previous picking and packing experience
- Team player
- Attention to detail
