Salary: £33,000 – £36,000

Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Frirdays 8:00am – 1:30pm
The role…
As the Electro/Mechanical Fitter your role will involve the following important duties:
- Dismantle, rebuild and refurbishment of pumps, gearboxes, motors, generators and similar equipment.
- Repairs to all types of rotating equipment.
- Dismantling, inspection, condition assessment and subsequent report on received equipment.
- Fault finding of industrial electro-mechanical equipment.
- Operating specialised equipment such as test equipment, stoving ovens overhead crane forklifts.
The experience required…
As a successful Electro/Mechanical Fitter, you will have the following:
- Mechanical ONC & HNC, NVQ or equivalent qualification and time served.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Strong Engineering background with experience working with pumps, gearboxes, motors and fans.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Confined space and lifting & slinging qualifications would be advantageous.
