We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Machinist based in Bedfordshire for one of our clients on a Full time Permanent basis.
Summary of the CNC Machinist role
Salary: £14 – £16 per hour
Location: Bedfordshire
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am to 5:30pm (overtime available)
Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist
– Working with the CNC machines to measure and cut down parts to actual size
– Follow and adhere to health and saftey procedures
– Read and follow the CAD/ CAM drawings to get the parts to the correct size
– Setting up the CNC machines as well as programming
Requirements for a successful CNC Machinist
– Experience working on either 3 or 5 axis machines
– Experience working with metals (ideally bronze and stainless)
– Be able to read CAD or CAM drawings
– Work at high accurate tolerance
