Allstaff Allstars Tickled Pink for #WearItPink day

October marks Breast Cancer Awareness month. A month long campaign designed to raise awareness of breast cancer and raise money to help fight against it. Charity Breast Cancer Now run campaigns all year round to help fund life-changing research. Their #WearItPink campaign runs within Breast Cancer Awareness month on October 22nd. Our Allstaff Allstars were Tickled Pink for this years Wear It Pink day. At our Bedford office, our team wore items of pink and indulged in an array of pink goodies.

We loved seeing our Allstaff Allstars tickled pink for this years campaign and cannot wait to see how they top it next year.

Guidance and Support

Breast cancer affects each and every one of us in some way or another. Male or female it is important to check your breasts regularly and look out for the signs.

Signs and symptoms of breast cancer include:

  • lump or swelling in the breast, upper chest or armpit
  • change to the skin, such as puckering or dimpling
  • change in the colour of the breast – the breast may look red or inflamed
  • nipple change, for example it has become pulled in (inverted)
  • Rash or crusting around the nipple
  • Unusual liquid (discharge) from either nipple
  • Changes in size or shape of the breast

There are also several other signs to look out for in the case of secondary breast cancer. Secondary breast cancer refers to breast cancer that has spread to another part of the body. Click here for information on the signs and symptoms of secondary cancer.
