Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Service Centre Works Administrator based in Bedford for a well-established engineering company.
Summary of the Service Centre Works Administrator role…
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:15am – 4:45pm Fridays 8:15am – 1:45pm
As the Service Centre Works Administrator your role will involve the following important duties:
- Provide admin support to the Department Managers.
- Booking/logging jobs & orders onto the system and updating them if required.
- Raising and chasing quotes from customers and suppliers.
- Raising and chasing Pro-forma invoices and POs.
- Chasing spares when required.
- Covering for reception and answering the telephone to external customers and suppliers.
- Any other ad-hoc jobs required.
- Using EMIR systems.
The experience required…
As a successful Service Centre Works Administrator, you will have the following:
- Previous experience working within a busy office environment.
- Strong IT skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly and experience using Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Confident in speaking on the telephone and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail.
