Purchasing Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Manager based in Pitstone for one of our clients on a full time permanent basis. Our client are expert horticulturalists and leading landscape designers offering bespoke services to reputable businesses and clients nationally.

Responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager

  • Negotiate best prices.
  • Order materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Raise purchase orders.
  • Coordinate deliveries.
  • Review and code all invoices.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Produce and analyse reports.
  • Manage servicing and repairs of site machinery.

Requirements for a successful Purchasing Manager

  • Previous purchasing and purchase ledger experience.
  • Proven Sage 50 experience within a purchase ledger setting.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong report writing and analysis skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Summary of the Purchasing Manager role

Salary: £27,000 – £35,000
Location: Pitstone

Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
