An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Factory Labourer to join our client’s workshop in Bedford. Summary of the Factory Labourer role
Salary:Dependent on Experience
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm
Responsibilities of the Factory Labourer
- Carefully wrap and prepare finished joinery and carpentry products for delivery, ensuring items are fully protected.
- Carry out general factory cleaning duties, including sweeping, hoovering, and keeping work areas tidy.
- Assist with light gardening and upkeep of the external areas and fire routes.
- Wash delivery vehicles to maintain company presentation standards.
- Provide hands-on support to the production team with light labouring tasks as required.
Requirements for a successful Factory Labourer
- Physically fit and happy to carry out manual work in a workshop environment.
- Hardworking, dependable, and proactive in maintaining workplace standards.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help where needed.
- Good attention to detail and care when handling finished products.
