We have an exciting opportunity for a Area Sales Manager based in South East England for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.
You will ideally be located in the Redhill/Brighton or Tonbridge Wells area.
Summary of the Area Sales Manager role
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 plus bonus
Location: South East England including London
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 4 days a week on the road and 1 day in the office at home – planning,
37.5 hour week
Responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager
- Managing a territory covering South East of England
- 7-8 daily customer visits (prospecting and confirmed)
- 60% account management, 40% new business development
- Convert a regular supply of leads from a variety of sources
- Provide technical sales support and consultative selling
Requirements for a successful Area Sales Manager
- Experience in field sales, preferably with a technical or engineering focus.
- Strong IT competence, with the ability to effectively use CRM systems.
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised and disciplined in planning and organising a territory.
- Technical qualification would be beneficial.
