Salary: £37,000 – £45,000
Job Location: Biggleswade, 100% office based
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 40 hour working week
The role…
As the Accounts Payable Manager your role will involve the following important duties:
- Manage the Company’s Account’s Payable function both third-party and intercompany.
- Manage the Accounts Payable team of 3 plus finance apprentices.
- Maintain purchase ledger and associated control accounts.
- Review and prepare payment proposals.
- Review intercompany invoices and payments.
- Input invoices, credit notes, and payments and undertake ledger maintenance.
- Controls and manages internal reporting timetables for month-end close processes.
- Prepare ledger reports.
The experience required…
As a successful Accounts Payable Manager, you will have the following:
- Substantial experience within a similar role.
- Numerical and educated to A level standard or equivalent.
- Experience managing a small team including apprentices.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- AAT qualification would be an advantage.
